Christmas 2023

This year, Annie is very excited about Christmas. She was decorating, wearing the red and green colors, and was bubbly about the holiday season. Annie lifted my and Judith’s spirits and got us in the mood.

From listening to old songs to watching classic Christmas movies, I thought a lot about my past when I was young. I feel fortunate to have grown up in a good place. Now, I care for Annie and Judith, and I love it.

Annie got three different-sized stuffed tacos. The Empress got some clothing items for future shoots and an excellent book about the roaring 20s in Egypt. We see good things ahead and wish everyone the same. Happy Holidays!

Cookies

Annie has been getting into the Christmas spirit in the last few weeks. She has been wearing lots of red and green colors and stocking up on cookies. Whether baked or store-bought, Annie loves round, cute, and sweet things.

Annie tries an Oreo, then quickly takes her hands away from the dish, knowing she should only have one. “But they are so good!” She says. So, she tries a sugar cookie with green frosting. Annie cannot help but indulge in such delicious treats.

Unwinding

A happy Annie, back in her element. Cozy and comfy in bed with her shimmer pillow and a couple of her birds. I am at peace when she is smiling. Some people watch goldfish. Some take care of a dog or a cat. I get great joy seeing her enjoying life.

As Annie unwinds from the festivities, she dreams of being in outer space. She believes other life forms are out there, much like her birds: cute, soft, and making sweet noises. Even with all that in mind, she loves her life here.

Bedtime Story Part 2

You might remember the Friendship Series I posted earlier this Spring. There was a photo set called “Bedtime Story,” with Annie and her friends Vicki and Tink. Once the story was over, something else happened afterward.

Apparently, there was too much chuckling during story time, and well, Annie and Tink got in a little bit of trouble. So, they were punished. This experiment was to see if Annie and I would enjoy something like this.

Annie: “It was safe, a new and interesting experience, and no one got ‘too hurt.’ I don’t think I will be doing that again, though. Lol.
